Kit for Top in "Blue Dragonfly Quilt" that was created by Yoko Saito in 2008.
It was introduced in the NHK Publishing book "Scandinavian Quilt (out of print)."
It has been exhibited numerous times at the International Quilt Festival (Tokyo Dome).
Before stating this tapestry, she drew the entire design on a large sheet of paper.
The color scheme is based on the blues and grays of the Scandinavian sky.
Since visiting Scandinavia, she has become more aware of the beauty of blue, and has incorporated it into more of her works.
